At the ceremony, Shen Xuefeng, Wang Hongbing, Hui Chaoyang and Liu Yongliang unveiled the plaque for Shaanxi Polytechnic University, and Liu Yongliang presided over the ceremony. Shen Xuefeng read out the document "Reply of the Ministry of Education on Approving the Establishment of Shaanxi Polytechnic University". On behalf of the university, Hui Chaoyang delivered a speech, stating that the university will continue to adhere to the original mission of cultivating talents for the Party and the country, implement the fundamental task of fostering virtue through education, uphold the type orientation of vocational education, base itself in Shaanxi, take root in the western region, rely on industries and serve local areas. It will blaze a path of industry-education integration with government leadership, industry guidance, enterprise support, self-adaptation and distinct characteristics, and contribute "Shaanxi Polytechnic Strength" to the journey of "building a strong manufacturing country" and "building a strong education country". Wang Hongbing said that since its establishment, Shaanxi Polytechnic University has always been rooted in Xianyang, served Shaanxi and faced the whole country, adhered to the original aspiration of vocational education, and cultivated a large number of high-quality technical and skilled talents, craftsmen and great craftsmen in the country. It has become a shining gold brand in the field of vocational education in Shaanxi Province and even the whole country. On the morning of the same day, at the branch venues of Weicheng Campus and Jingkai Campus, alumni representatives, enterprise representatives and teacher-student representatives also unveiled the plaques for the school gates of the two campuses at the same time, jointly witnessing Shaanxi Polytechnic University continuing to pursue its dreams and set sail on a new journey.
Over the past 75 years of running the school, as one of the first batch of industrial schools that have grown and developed in the same direction as the People's Republic of China, Shaanxi Polytechnic University has always been rooted in the fertile soil of the equipment manufacturing industry, adhered to the original aspiration of cultivating talents for the Party and the country, taken root in the western region and served the manufacturing industry, and explored a distinctive development path of being rooted in local areas, relying on industries and integrating industry and education.
