Shaanxi Polytechnic University has recently gained significant recognition for its internationalization efforts. It has been selected into the "Typical Cases of International Cooperative Education in Vocational Education" – a program organized by the China Education Association for International Exchange under the entrustment of the Ministry of Education–and won the first prize in the "Excellent Cases for Enhancing School Running & Service Capacity" selection hosted by the National Joint Conference of Presidents of Higher Vocational Colleges. These consecutive honors fully validate the institute’s achievements in advancing internationalized education.

The institute’s internationalization progress is guided by its core "Innovation and Entrepreneurship Plan," which centers on two key pillars: "creative transformation" and "innovative development." Under "creative transformation," it leverages high-end platforms to absorb international advanced concepts, collaborates with global enterprises like Siemens and Omron to build training bases, and establishes international certification centers such as the German TÜV Rheinland Welding International Certification Training Center. For "innovative development," it partners with "going global" enterprises including China Nonferrous Metal Mining Group and CATL to construct overseas projects (e.g., China-Zambia Vocational and Technical College, Ethiopia Chinese Language Workshop, and Qinling Workshops in Indonesia and Nigeria) and provides capacity-building training for vocational educators in Belt and Road countries. These efforts have yielded notable outcomes in integrating international standards into teaching and cultivating local technical talents abroad.

Looking ahead, Shaanxi Polytechnic University will further align with the national "Belt and Road" Initiative, continue to optimize the implementation of its "Innovation and Entrepreneurship Plan," accelerate the pace of "vocational education going global," and deepen international vocational education cooperation. Its goal is to contribute more wisdom and strength to promoting the high-quality development of China’s vocational education.
