On April 17, President Liu Yongliang of Shaanxi Polytechnic University led a delegation to Contemporary Amperex Technology Co. Limited (CATL), a global power battery giant, and signed an agreement to jointly cultivate international modern craftsmen, supporting the Belt and Road Initiative. Deputy Party Secretary Tian Hao, Vice President Duan Jun, and relevant department heads accompanied the visit.
At the ceremony, President Liu pledged the university's support for CATL's global expansion. Leveraging the“Qinling Workshop”in Indonesia, the university will innovate a“Chinese+skills+corporate culture”education system, establishing a full-cycle talent cultivation model. It plans to offer full-time programs in new energy vehicle and power battery majors, aiming to supply about 300 skilled local Indonesian talents to CATL.
CATL's HR Director Hong Liang welcomed the delegation and praised the university's achievements. Indonesian Project Director Liu Tao highlighted Indonesia's importance in CATL's ASEAN strategy and the need for cross-cultural skilled talents, expressing hopes to integrate corporate and academic resources.
President Liu presented a commemorative plate, and Vice President Duan Jun signed the agreement with Liu Tao. This deal will deepen cooperation, enable dual-track talent cultivation, advance the university's “Double High-level Program,” and set a model for vocational education“going global.”
