A pivotal seminar on“Digital Transformation of Vocational Education to Boost Asia-Pacific Digital Economy Cooperation”took place from April 17-18, 2025. Co-organized by SXPI and hosted by the Ministry of Education's Vocational Education Development Center, the event charted new directions for regional educational collaboration.
In his video address, Deputy Director Huang Hui lauded the seminar's significance and outlined key research expectations. Vice President Mei Chuangshe extended a warm welcome, emphasizing our university's commitment to advancing digital transformation in vocational education.
Attended by 17 experts from institutions like Shenzhen Polytechnic University, along with ministry official Zheng Jian and our university's representatives, discussions centered on refining research frameworks, enriching content, and enhancing quality. Concrete next-stage tasks were defined, solidifying the project's roadmap.
Participants also toured our university's industry-education integration showcases and visited Xianyang High-tech Zone enterprises, exploring digital transformation models and exchanging insights on talent cultivation. This hands-on exploration underscored the practical implications of bridging education and industry in the digital era.
