To implement the Xi'an-Central Asia Summit spirit and expand international cooperation, from Oct 22-Nov 4, 2024, Shaanxi Polytechnic worked with Kazakhstan's ERG School Alliance. They organized various activities for 26 participants from 9 Pavlodar Region units, including skills training, teaching improvement, enterprise visits, and vocational competitions.

In skills training, 12 Kazakh enterprise staff and students learned "ordinary lathe", "CNC lathe", "fitter", and "welding" skills. A Nov 1st competition, following World Skills standards with Chinese and Kazakh judges, promoted cross-border learning.

Seven vocational college teachers from Pavlodar Region studied professional skills at the School of Materials Engineering of SXPI. They were interested in the school's talent-training model and expressed a wish for cooperation in curriculum and teacher training.

On Oct 31st, the School of International Education arranged visits to 5 Xianyang high-tech Zone enterprises. Kazakh participants learned about modern manufacturing, electrical, display, and energy storage technologies.

On Oct 30th and Nov 1st, the Pavlodar Region Education Dept deputy director and ERG Group leaders visited SXPI. They discussed building a "vocational education going global" project in Kazakhstan with school leaders. They also visited SXPI training bases and praised the school's capabilities.
