At the invitation of Ostfalia University of Applied Sciences, Germany, SXPI four students participated in the two weeks 2016 International Summer University (ISU2016) from 15thto 28thMay in Germany. SXPI have already sent total of 22 students and teachers to the events in Ostfalia University of Applied Sciences since 2012 so far.
The ISU program was designed as an International student course covering an overview and applications of sustainable energy technologies mainly based on wind, sun and water. The participants got an impression of Germany and the region by attending compact presentations on history, geography and culture as well as visits to companies and places of interest.
Several guest lecturers from USA, Finland and Professors from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and other Faculties of Ostfalia University delivered an interesting and up to date course program, easy to understand and convenient also for non technical oriented students. The ISU big excursions included Bremerhaven and Breman in northern Germany near the coast of the North Sea, Hamburg and Berlin.
Students come from school of Business Management, School of Logistic and School of Mechanical Engineering participated in this year ISU. They enjoyed and experienced a lot from the event.
