At the Invitation of Vladivostok State University of Economic and Service, SXPI associate professor Yang Hua and her student Yang Huan participated in XXIII International Young Designer Contest “Pygmalion”during the Pacific Style Week-2016 in Russia from May 18 to 22. The amazing collections they offered soon became the focus of the event.

Yang Hua, also made a presentation titled The Display of East Asian Culture Elements in European Fashion Design at the Round Table Discussion on May 20. As the only Chinese Jury for the event, Miss Yang's collection Splendid East attracted eyes of people for its amazing traditonal Chinese culture and beautiful design showed.

SXPI student Yang Huan's collection Red and Black competed with collections from youth designers from Russia, Republic of Korea,Japan at the Contest “Pygmalion”. Yang Huan's collections went to the final competition,audience cheered and applauded for the unique and beautiful collections.

SXPI is the only Chinese college participated in Pacific Style Week-2016. This is the second year SXPI sent teacher and student to the event.
