Ms. Zhang Xiaoyun, SXPI president, visited the USA for a VET administrative and key teaching staff training program from October 30 to November 19. This training program was organized by China Education Association for International Exchange(CEAIE) and the trainees came from 15 higher vocational colleges of 10 provinces, China. One coordinator from CEAIE participated in the whole training program.

Focused on visiting and studying, communication and cooperation, The training process divided into three phases by visiting and studying in Northern Virginia Community College, Troy University and American Association of State Colleges and Universities(AASCU). The training impressed Ms. Zhang and the other members, which helped the training group to well understand the differences of culture and education between the USA and China, the advantage of professional oriented VET in the USA. The training trip also helped Ms. Zhang, as head of SXPI, to consider what kind of cooperation SXPI can work with the US colleges and universities under the background of China’s One Belt, One Road initiative .

Ms. Zhang was appointed as the head of the training group by CEAIE and made speeches on behalf of the training group while visiting and holding meetings with the US side.
