In order to carry forward the spirit of Chinese aesthetic education and promote the development of aesthetic education in higher vocational education, the 2022 National Vocational Aesthetic Education Seminar co-hosted by Aesthetic Education Professional Committee of China Higher Education Association and was successfully held in SXPI from June 23 to 24.

More than 70 aesthetic education experts and scholars from higher vocational colleges across the country exchanged aesthetic education work experience, explored new content and new methods of aesthetic education practice in the new era, in the process of looking for beauty, thinking about beauty, achievement of beauty, drew a blueprint for the future development of aesthetic education in higher vocational colleges.

At the opening ceremony, Mr. Hui Zhaoyang, Ms. Guan He and Mr. Du Wei delivered speeches successively. Mr. Hui Zhaoyang introduced the reform and development process of SXPI's aesthetic education in his speech. He said that SXPI has always attached great importance to aesthetic education. In recent years, SXPI has earnestly studied and implemented President Xi Jinping's important discussion on aesthetic education, actively promoted the reform of aesthetic education, and tried to integrate the original aspiration and mission of aesthetic education into the whole process of talent training.
SXPI educated students to know and understand beauty, and has achieved fruitful results in the theory and practice of aesthetic education. SXPI made positive exploration for the development of aesthetic education in higher vocational colleges. Mr. Hui Zhaoyang hoped to establish a closer cooperative relationship with all experts and colleagues with aesthetic education as a bond, and made efforts to cultivate new people in the era of moral, intellectual, physical and beauty together.

She pointed out that aesthetic education in the new era is facing new situations and new tasks. The opportunities and challenges coexisted here, and it was necessary to understand the aesthetic education work of vocational education from the strategic height of the Party and the country, fully understand the significance of aesthetic education, guide students to perfect personality cultivation, improve aesthetic pursuit, enhance cultural innovation consciousness, establish a correct vocational view, so that vocational college students really could improve their quality from aesthetic education.
