On July 1, there was continuous laughter in the Gu Du Yi Teahouse. International students of SXPI dressed in Han clothing and learned Chinese tea art under the guidance of teachers. Teacher Ms. Luo Lin, a tea artist from the National Tea House, demonstrated the etiquette of handing tea, and performed the whole process of washing, brewing and pouring tea.

"Indonesians like to put more sugar in their tea. Old people like to put ginger in their tea. They think it's good for their health. Javanese people prefer to drink jasmine tea." Tang Mei, an international student from Indonesia, introduced the different customs of drinking tea among Indonesians. “

"In my country, some honey and lemon are used to make tea in winter. I like to drink tea with biscuits and desserts. But in China, there are no other accessories, and the fragrance is very special." Said Sasha, an international student from Russia. After watching the teacher's demonstration, she couldn't wait to pick up the teapot and start working. Although the movements were a bit jerky, with the help of the tea teacher, she successfully brewed a pot of black tea.

During everyone's tea tasting, Ms. Luo Lin introduced the historical development and evolution of Han clothing to the international students, and vividly explained and presented the norms and key points of Hanfu dress etiquette. In the interactive session, international students Tang Mei and Sasha put on Hanfu with great interest, and studied traditional etiquette such as salutation, tie ceremony, and Wanfu ceremony.

Sasha said excitedly: "Wearing the beautiful Han clothing for this event makes me feel like I have traveled through time and returned to ancient China. I am very happy to drink delicious Chinese tea and learn about the traditional Chinese tea culture. ”

This activity not only promoted traditional Chinese culture, but also allowed international students to experience Chinese history and Chinese culture in person. This experience of wearing Han clothing and tasting Chinese tea aimed to let the international students experience the historical origin and traditional aesthetics of ancient Chinese clothing more intuitively, and also let them fully contact and perceive the charm of traditional Chinese culture!
