On November 22, local time, the international symposium "Post-Covid-19 Higher Education: Challenges and Innovation" was held in Lima, capital of Peru. This conference focused on new technologies in higher education and invited representatives of educational organizations, outstanding enterprises and institutions from many countries to share new technologies, new methods and new experiences in higher education. At the invitation of the conference, Qin Jingjun, Dean of the School of International Education, made a keynote speech to the conference in the form of video recording.

With the title of "Practice of the Construction of Virtual Simulation Training Base of Intelligent Manufacturing in Vocational Colleges in China", Qin Jingjun introduced the necessity, policy background, construction ideas, main measures and existing problems of the construction of virtual simulation training base for intelligent manufacturing in Chinese higher vocational colleges to the meeting. In the form of video, he shared with the delegates the construction of intelligent manufacturing professional training base in SXPI.

It is reported that the conference was divided into three sub-forums of universities, enterprises and human resource companies, which were held online and offline. More than 100 representatives from South American countries attended the conference.
