Recently, SXPI held a teaching seminar for SINO-ZAM Vocational College of Science and Technology in the form of video conference in the School of Mechanical Engineering. Mei Chuangshe, Vice President of SXPI, Zhao Lixia, Director of the Education and Training Department of the Non-Ferrous Metal Industry Talent Center, Qin Jingjun, Dean of the School of International Education, YANWA, principal of the Zambian side, and representatives of Zambian teachers attended the seminar. The meeting was presided over by Zhao Mingwei, Dean of the School of Mechanical Engineering.
Mei Chuangshe said that, as a pilot unit of "Going out" vocational education for non-ferrous metal industry of the Ministry of Education, SXPI joined hands with enterprises and brother colleges to establish the first overseas higher vocational school in Zambia in 2019. SXPI would continue to support the education and teaching work of the school in Zambia. He hoped that the Zambian branch would strictly follow the teaching standards and management requirements of the school, strengthen the communication with the head school, strengthen the daily teaching management, ensure the teaching quality, and constantly improve the training level of local talents integrated with production and education.
Zhao Lixia said that with the strong support of SXPI, the early work of the Zambian branch has achieved remarkable results. She hoped that SXPI would continuously improve the long-term management mechanism of the Zambian Branch, overcome the difficulties of the epidemic, strengthen the management and supervision of the education and teaching of the branch, and spread the vocational education experience of Shaanxi Institute to the outside world.
The meeting made full exchanges and discussions on the teaching equipment management, teacher selection, enrollment and teaching work, management mechanism and other contents of the Zambia Branch, and made clear the relevant matters.
