The School of International Education Negotiated Cooperation Projects with Institutes in Ethiopia and Ghana

Recently, at the invitation of General Winged Polytechnic College in Ethiopia and the Institute of Agribusiness & Technology in Ghana, Qin Jingjun, Dean of the School of International Education, exchanged and discussed cooperation projects with relevant leaders through the online form.

At the meeting, Qin Jingjun introduced the basic situation of SXPI and the international exchange and cooperation. He said that SXPI, as one of the leading vocational institutes in China and the UNESCO International Center for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (UNESCO-UNEVOC), attached great importance to carrying out exchange and cooperation projects with African countries to promote people-to-people exchanges and cooperation between China and Africa. SXPI summarized the foundation of building SINO-ZAM Vocational College of Science and Technology and developing teaching standards for Nigeria and other countries in the early stage. SXPI would make good use of the platform of UNESCO-UNEVOC center to carry out a series of capacity building activities for African countries, share China's vocational education experience, and promote the joint improvement of vocational education in China and Africa.

The heads of General Winged Polytechnic College in Ethiopia and the Institute of Agribusiness & Technology in Ghana introduced the basic information of schools. They expressed their admiration and congratulations on the achievements of SXPI and hoped to learn from SXPI's successful experience in vocational education to promote the development of local vocational education and youth employment. And also hoped that the successful experience of SXPI in vocational education could be used for reference to promote the development of local vocational education and youth employment.

At the meeting, both sides had a full exchange on curriculum development, teacher training, applied research and other projects and reached a consensus on cooperation.
