ABOUT US

Located in Xianyang, Shaanxi Polytechnic Institute(SXPI) is 25 kilometers from the Provincial Capital Xi’an and approximately 15 kilometers north of the Xi’an-Xianyang International Airport.SXPI offers 3 year diploma programs for its nearly 22,000 students on campus. QUALIFICATIONS

(1) Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens with valid passports, good physical and mental health, no criminal record.

(2) Applicants should be under 26, holding senior high school graduation diploma and excellent study records.

APPLICATION DEADLINE

Applicantsmay apply for September enrollment from March20, 2023, to July1, 2023, or apply for February enrollment from September10, 2023, to December10, 2023.

APPLICATION MATERIALS(SUBMIT ONLINE)

(1) A copy of senior high school diploma(or graduation certificate) and all transcripts. It should be the original documents or be notarized.

(2) A copy of "Physical Examination Form for Foreigners". The original copy should be kept by the applicant. The form should be filled in Chinese or English.The medical examinations must cover all the items listed in the Foreigner Physical Examination Form. Incomplete records, those without the signature of the attending physician, the official stamp of the hospital or a sealed photograph of the applicants are invalid. Please select the appropriate time to take medical examination as it is valid for only 6 months.

(3) A copy of the personal information page of valid passport.

(4) A copy of Non-criminal record(valid forsixmonths).

*Notarized English or Chinese translations are required if materials are in other languages.

APPLICATION PROCEDURES

(1) Applicants should create an account and log into the SXPI online application portal at(http://sxpi.chiwest.cn/), fill the online application in Chinese or English.

(2) Applicants should submit all required documents online.

(3) New students who have been examined and admitted by SXPI will receive the admission notice and the visa JW 202 form by mail. Students need to apply X1 visa with both JW202 and admission letter.

PROGRAMS

(1) Degree Program

SXPI provides 3 year Diploma Programs(Chinese language learning including). The graduates will be awarded with graduation certificates recognized by the Chinese government. Those who are willing to further their study can be recommended to higher level universities.

(2) Chinese Language Program

SXPI provides long-term Chinese Language Programs (one semester or one year). Course contents include Intensive Chinese Listening, Spoken Chinese, Chinese Reading, Chinese Writing, and Chinese culture. A formal transcript and certificate of completion will be issued. Those who are willing to further their study are welcomed to apply for the degree program at SXPI.

TUITION FEE & SCHOLARSHIP

(1) Registration: 500RMB/year

(2) Tuitionfee: 4,000 RMB/semester, 8,000RMB/year

(3) Accommodation(four-bed room): 600 RMB/semester, 1,200RMB/year

(4) Books and other supplies: 500RMB/year

(5) Insurance: 400 RMB/semester, 800RMB/year

(6) Competitive scholarship opportunities are given.

The above expense should be paid to SXPI finance in one week after your arrival.

REGISTRATION

(1) Admitted students must complete online and offline registration processes at the Admissions Office before deadline. Late registration is not accepted.

(2) Admitted students must bring the original copy of the application materials.

* Those who cannot provide or whose original copy is inconsistent with the scanned copy provided at 

the time of application will be disqualified from admission.
