To enrich cultural practice courses and enhance international students’ understanding of traditional Chinese culture, our university recently organized a cultural study tour to Shaanxi Art Vocational College for international students.

Prior to the tour, a special lecture Approaching Chinese Opera was given to introduce Chinese opera culture and basic Qinqiang skills.

Students then watched a professional Qinqiang performance in Shaanxi Art Vocational College , interacted with performers, and learned about opera facial paintings, costumes and props.

This activity integrated theory and practice, enabling international students to appreciate the charm of Qinqiang and traditional Chinese culture. The university will continue to carry out cultural practice activities to help international students better understand China.
