The 10th International Vocational Education Exchange of the Belt and Road Vocational Education Alliance kicked off in Xi’an on May 21, gathering over 150 officials, vocational college representatives and enterprise executives from Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and other BRI partner countries.
Four outstanding 2025 Qinling Workshop projects including the university’s Indonesia program received awards at the ceremony. Ji Yingqiu, Deputy Secretary of Shaanxi Provincial Education Working Committee, presented certification, marking another achievement of the university’s internationalized vocational education.
Guided by Shaanxi Provincial Department of Education, Qinling Workshop is a flagship program for China’s overseas vocational education to boost industry-education integration and cross-border school-enterprise cooperation. Partnering with global-leading Chinese firms such as CATL and Huayou Cobalt, the university has cultivated local skilled personnel overseas and promoted Chinese vocational education standards abroad under the workshop initiative.
Going forward, the university will deepen industry-education integration and expand global partnerships to support high-quality BRI development and overseas expansion of Chinese enterprises.
