On December 26, the School of International Education, together with the School of Electrical Engineering, organized a special electrical safety training session for all international students in the international order classes of CATL and Huayou Cobalt. The training aimed to strengthen students’ awareness of safe electricity use, standardize practical training procedures, and ensure campus safety for study and daily life.
Under the theme “Safe Electricity Use, Standardized Operation, Accident Prevention”, the training covered basic electrical knowledge, common electrical hazards, safety rules for laboratories and dormitories, and emergency response for electric shock. Lecturers combined real cases and on-site demonstrations to explain the proper use of electrical equipment, leakage protection, self-rescue and mutual-rescue skills, and guided students to identify safety signs and emergency facilities.
This training is an important part of the International Education School’s efforts to promote regular and systematic safety education for international students. Through inter-college collaboration, it integrates safety awareness into the whole process of student development and lays a solid safety foundation for on-campus study and future enterprise internships. The university will continue to carry out various safety education activities to build a stable, harmonious and safe campus environment.
