On December 12, the School of International Education held an online exchange seminar with Hong Kong Metropolitan University and Australia’s Griffith University. The three parties discussed high-quality development and cross-border cooperation in vocational education, and reached cooperation consensus.
Professor Sarojni Choy from Griffith University introduced Australia’s VET priorities, including skills upgrading, apprenticeship reform, micro-credentials, teacher development and industry collaboration.
Li Ke from the International Education School presented China’s vocational education system, the university’s 75-year industry-education integration model and achievements in international programs.
The three sides held in-depth discussions on quality assurance, student development and educational equity. Hong Kong Metropolitan University proposed a resource-sharing platform and regular cooperation mechanism.
The seminar built an international cooperation platform, displayed the university’s strengths and laid a solid foundation for future international collaboration.
