Recently, upon the university’s active recommendation and expert evaluation, 15 young backbone teachers from our institution have successfully been approved for the China Scholarship Council (CSC) Special Program for Talent Development in Western China, securing national-sponsored overseas study opportunities. They will depart in batches to pursue advanced studies and research at world-renowned universities including Nanyang Technological University (Singapore).The CSC Special Program for Talent Development in Western China is a key talent cultivation initiative established to serve the national strategy for coordinated regional development, support local economic and social progress, and facilitate the construction of "Double First-Class" universities and "Double High-Level Plan" vocational colleges. Jointly organized by the China Scholarship Council and provincial-level education administrative departments, the three-year program aims to foster high-quality talents with international perspectives, comprehensive capabilities, and innovative spirits.In recent years, our university has continuously expanded channels for teachers to participate in national-sponsored overseas visits and international training programs. To date, a total of 41 faculty members have been selected for various national-level projects, such as the Overseas Training Program for Innovative Teams of "Master Craftsman Teachers" and the aforementioned Special Program for Talent Development in Western China. The continuous improvement in the internationalization level of the teaching staff has provided solid support for the university to deepen the integration of production and education, and promote the construction of the "Double High-Level Plan" and applied undergraduate education.
