The opening ceremony of the Indonesia International Order Class, jointly established by Shaanxi Polytechnic University and Zhejiang Huayou Cobalt Co., Ltd., was successfully held at the Weicheng Campus on the morning of October 16. Li Qian, General Manager of the Human Resource Management Center of Huayou Cobalt Group, and Mei Chuangshe, Vice President of Shaanxi Polytechnic University, attended the ceremony and delivered speeches. Responsible persons from relevant departments of both the university and the enterprise, as well as all teachers and students of the Order Class, jointly witnessed this important moment of deepening industry-education integration and jointly cultivating international talents.
The ceremony kicked off with a cultural performance full of ethnic customs by Indonesian students, demonstrating their vigorous vitality and cultural charm. In his speech, Li Qian introduced Huayou Cobalt's global industrial layout and the strategic significance of its Indonesia project. He stated that the cooperation with Shaanxi Polytechnic University in launching the Order Class is a key measure for the enterprise to advance its localized and international talent strategy, and he expressed the expectation of reserving high-quality technical and skilled talents for the Indonesia project through university-enterprise collaboration.
Mei Chuangshe systematically expounded on the practical path of the university's innovative construction of a three-dimensional integrated education model of "Chinese Language+Vocational Skills+Corporate Culture" relying on the overseas education platform of the "Qinling Workshop" in Indonesia. He pointed out that the establishment of the Order Class represents substantial progress in the university's service for the "Belt and Road" international production capacity cooperation. He also encouraged the students to strive to grow into compound international talents who "understand Chinese, are familiar with culture and master professional skills", and to become pioneers in technological breakthroughs and bridges for cross-cultural communication.
A video message from the parents of Indonesian students conveyed sincere blessings across mountains and seas, warming the entire audience. Two student representatives delivered speeches successively, stating that they would cherish the opportunity to study in China, aspire to devote themselves to Huayou's Indonesia project after graduation, and contribute to the development of their hometown.
Liu Di, Dean of the School of Chemical Engineering and Textile & Garment, introduced to the new students the school's teaching resources centered on national key majors, vocational undergraduate majors and the "National Huang Danian-style Teacher Team", and promised to provide solid support for the students' growth. Yang Xiuguo, Secretary of the General Party Branch of the School of Chemical Engineering and Textile & Garment, awarded the class flag to the Order Class, marking the official launch of this new collective for international talent cultivation.
The successful launch of this Order Class is another important practice of the university in deepening industry-education integration and serving the "Belt and Road" Initiative, which will accurately provide high-quality technical and skilled talents for China-Indonesia international production capacity cooperation.
