Two 2025 Shaanxi Provincial Training Programs for International Student Management Staff–commissioned by the Shaanxi Education Department and organized by the Shaanxi Higher Education Association’s Foreign Student Management Branch were recently held in Xi’an. Shaanxi Polytechnic University’s International Education School was invited to share school-enterprise cooperation experience for international students.

At the department-level training, Dean Qin Jingjun (speech titled Exploration of Industry-Education Integration Model for International Student Cultivation in Higher Vocational Colleges) detailed the university’s "Indonesia Qinling Workshop" collaborative system. Jointly built with Indonesian institutions and enterprises like CATL, it uses "dual-campus+dual-tutor" mode, integrating Chinese teaching and vocational skills. To date, 119 degree-seeking international students, 47 dual-degree graduates, and 198 local employees for Chinese enterprises have been trained; its "order-based cultivation" and "2.5+0.5" model meet overseas enterprise needs, enabling "employment upon graduation".

At the grassroots training, Office Director Xin Qi (theme: Industry-Education Integration, Dual-Way Education) shared the "three-stage internship management method" (on-campus training → professional practice → enterprise internship), which ensures skills match enterprise requirements. This model has worked well in projects like Kazakhstan ERG Group’s welding training and Indonesia’s new energy talent cultivation.

The university’s industry-education integration experience provides replicable references for Shaanxi’s international student management. It will further develop the "Qinling Workshop" brand and innovate the "Chinese+Vocational Skills" model to support Belt and Road talent cultivation.
