Guo Xufeng and LiZerui, both are juniors and from school of Information Engineering of SXPI, recently arrived in Busan, Rep. of Korea, beginning their one year exchange student life in Dong-A University which is a South Korean partner of Shaanxi Polytechnic Institute. This is the first time that SXPI sent students to the South Korea partner for one year long exchange study as, before, it only had program for short time summer culture experience with Dong-A University.

Accordingto the students exchange contract signed recently by the two institutes, SXPI students have the opportunity to apply for one year exchange program to study Korean language in Dong-A University while they enter the third academic yearin SXPI, which means the last year for them to study here. If their Koran language level reaches TOPIK 3 after the exchange time in Korea, the exchange students may study for undergraduate courses offered by Dong-A University, which always continues for two years for bachelor degree. After graduation from Dong-A University, the students may be employed in South Korea or return China to work in Korean enterprises. Dong-A University offers students lots of scholarship,and has tuition fees exempted for their one year exchange study. This is a new platform for SXPI students for further study in oversea with the opportunity for Korean language study and undergraduate programs in Rep. of Korea. Before this program, SXPI has already worked out a program for its students for master degree study in universities in Germany by cooperating with the BSK International Organization, an education agency in Germany.

Located in Busan,Dong-A University is well known in Korea. Until now, SXPI is cooperating with Dong-A University for students and teachers exchange programs as SXPI has already had 24 students visiting and studying in Dong-A University since the two institutes established cooperation relationship in 2015.
