On June 21, Shaanxi Polytechnic Institute (SXPI) held thegraduation ceremony of 2022 international studentson the third floor of Chongwen building.SXPI President, LiuYongliang, Vice President, Mei Chuangshe and Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee,TianHao attended the ceremony. Meanwhile, the family members of all the international students also witnessed and shared the happy moments through live-streaming video.
At the ceremony, the teachers and students first watched the commemorative micro video,Sailing for My Dream, by 2022 international students. In the warm song, the students presented the records of their study and life in SXPI and showed their deep love to SXPI.
President Liu Yongliang delivered graduation certificates and souvenirs to the 2022 international students.Vice President Mei Chuangshe awarded honorary certificates to Wida Vanya and Kunitckaia Aleksandra, outstanding graduates, and an appointment letter to Mehedi Hasan Sohag as the alumni liaison. On behalf of SXPI,Mr. Tian Hao congratulated all international students on their successful completion of their studies and wished them abrightfuture.“I wish you could acceptchanges and meet challenges more bravely, pursuing excellence when chasingdreams.”
Iman Kristianto, the Indonesian student, and Kunitckaia Aleksandra, the Russian student, spoke successively as student representatives. In his speech, Iman Kristianto expressed his gratitude for the cultivation of SXPI, the dedication of all the teachers, the selfless devotion of his parents and the friendly help of his classmates and roommates. Besides, he shared his achievements in learning Chinese and professional courses, especially, he mentioned the practical training courses he had attended in SXPI, through which he learned to operate CNC machine tools, lathes, milling machines, welding, etc.“The study in SXPI will be the most unforgettable memory in my life and I wish SXPI a more brilliant future.”He said.
Kunitckaia Aleksandra, in her speech, shared her inner choice from being an exchange student for six months to deciding to continue studying in SXPI for three years, and expressed her love for China and Chinese culture.She showed her gratitude for the support of her relatives and friends, and the hard work of all the leaders and teachers of SXPI. Most importantly, she expressed that she would spread the knowledge learned in SXPI to more people, so that the world would know and understand China better.“I’m expecting that I could be a friendly communicator of Chinese and Russian culture.”
Zhang Xueping, the teacher's representative, sent her best wishes to all the international students, expecting them to learn to accept differences with a more inclusive and open attitude, and adopt the collision between different civilizations with a more positive and optimistic attitude. Besides, she hoped that the students could become good ambassadors for friendly cultural exchanges between China and foreign countries.
It’s particularly worth mentioning that the parents of all the international students also delivered their congratulations on their Children's successful graduation and showed their thanks for SXPI.
The 2022 international students presented their water-color painting as a souvenir to show their sincere gratitude to SXPI. And the ceremony ended with the affectionate singing of all the international students and the meaningful group photos.
Among the 11 international students of 2022, 6 were employed by Shaanxi Blower Group Co.,LTD and Jiangsu Lianfa Textile Group, Indonesia. 5 were admitted by Chang'an University, Xi'an Polytechnic University and Changzhou Institute of Technology. All of them obtained employment opportunities or continued their studies, achieving a 100% enrollment and employment rate.
