In the afternoon of July 15th, the School of International Education held the Chinese language training completion ceremony & employment interview for local employees of the Operation and Maintenance Project of Shanggu Indonesia Power Plant by video conference. Dr. Susanto, President of Indonesia Viwa College, Mr. Chang Xuping, director of Operation and maintenance Project of ShaanGu Indonesia Power Plant, and other enterprise leaders attended the activity and delivered speeches. The ceremony was presided over by Mr. Qin Jingjun, Dean of the School of International Education.
In his speech, Dr. Susanto thanked SXPI and ShaanGu Group for providing good learning and employment opportunities to Indonesian students. He hoped to further strengthen cooperation with SXPI to cultivate Indonesian talents for enterprise orders and promote the employment and social development of Indonesian youth. He also hoped that the students who participated in the training program would cherish the good opportunity to work in Chinese enterprises, study hard and work hard. Mr. Chang introduced the basic situation of the operation and maintenance project of ShaanGu Indonesia Power Plant and the urgent need for local staff in the subsequent development of the enterprise. More Indonesian young students are welcome to join the operation and maintenance project team of ShaanGu Indonesia Power Plant through the Chinese training program of SXPI in the future.
Mr. Qin congratulated the students on their successful completion of the four-month online Chinese learning program. He hoped that the students will continue to learn Chinese, especially after working in Chinese enterprises, could often speak Chinese, and constantly improve the ability to adapt to the post in Chinese enterprises. He also hoped that the students could actively promote the Chinese training program of SXPI, so that more Indonesian youth could learn Chinese and get jobs in Chinese enterprises. He said that in the future, SXPI will cooperate with more Indonesian colleges and Chinese enterprises to carry out more orders training programs for local employees of Chinese enterprises to serve the "The Belt and Road" and international production capacity cooperation.
After the ceremony, the second job interview of the training program was held, and the 14 trainees answered the interview questions of the enterprise directors one by one. There were 32 trainees in the Chinese language training program for local employees of ShaanGu Indonesia Power Plant, and 16 trainees have been employed in the enterprise so far.
