From August 1st to 2nd, SXPI conducted a preliminary acceptance of the new campus construction project. Mr. Tian Hao, deputy secretary of the party committee, and vice presidents Mr. Mei Chuangshe, Mr. Liu Qing, Mr. Duan Jun, and the heads or representatives of the party and government office, the general office of the discipline inspection commission, the student office, the logistics office, the infrastructure office, and other functional departments participated in the acceptance. The person in charge of the EPC general contracting company, installation, technology, quality, production and other related personnel of the new campus construction project participated in the whole process of acceptance. Mr. Liu Qing, vice president and project leader of the new campus, presided over the preliminary acceptance work.
In the guidance and introduction of the relevant personnel of the EPC general contracting enterprise, the acceptance team inspected the main structure, mechanical and electrical installation, decoration, outdoor engineering, water, electricity and heating of the 18 single buildings in the new campus. The design and construction, use function, project quality, and construction completion of the entire project were checked. The comrades generally believed that the new campus construction project had a good overall look, modern and fashionable design, and complete use functions. The project quality standards and construction progress achieved the expected goals. The acceptance working group required the general contractor to check and fill the gaps in the overall project completion.
After the project passesd the relevant professional inspection, it could apply for the completion acceptance of the local construction department to ensure that the new campus would be put into use on time in September this year.
It was reported that the construction project of SXPI’s new campus was a key project in Shaanxi Province and a project of benefiting the people in Xianyang. Since the project started construction in March 2020, it has been highly valued by the Provincial Development and Reform Commission, the Provincial Department of Education, the Provincial Department of Natural Resources, and the Provincial Department of Finance. At the same time, it has also received strong support from the Xianyang Municipal Government and Xianyang Economic and Technological Development Zone.
The participating enterprises overcame uncontrollable factors such as epidemic prevention, pollution control and smog reduction, and national and provincial sports games. It took about two and a half years to complete a single building and overall supporting tasks of about 271,300 square meters. There were 18 single buildings including teaching apartment, teaching theory A-E, student apartment A-F, life service center, canteen, innovation and entrepreneurship center, and information technology center.
A green, fashionable and livable new campus with a modern industrial style stands majestically on the land of Sanqin, adding new space resources to SXPI and helping the high-quality development of higher vocational and technical education in Shaanxi.
