On the morning of August 5, as one of the main forums of the 57th China Higher Education Expo, Shaanxi Xi'an Vocational Education Reform and Development Forum was successfully held in Xi'an International Convention and Exhibition Center. More than 200 representatives from education and industry took "Promoting High-quality Development of Vocational Education" as the theme, focusing on the construction of world-class institutions , innovation of talent training system, integration of production and education, adapting to regional industrial development, improvement of talent quality and innovation and construction of entrepreneurship education system, etc.
This forum is directed by China Higher Education Association, hosted by Shaanxi Provincial Department of Education and Xi'an Municipal People's Government, undertaken by Xi'an Education Bureau, Xi'an Human Resources and Social Security Bureau,co-organized by Xi'an Education Media Center, Xi'an Education Science Research Institute, etc .
SXPI's President Liu Yongliang was invited to attend the forum and delivered a keynote report on"Paths and Reflections on the Integration of Industry & Education from the Vision of ‘Great Vocational Education’". The theme report is divided into three parts: the background and characteristics of the formation of the concept of "Great Vocational Education", the interpretation and policy of the integration of industry and education from the perspective of "Great Vocational Education", and the exploration of the integration of industry and education from the perspective of "Great Vocational Education".
From these three aspects, he elaborated the differences between ordinary higher education and higher vocational education, the opportunities and challenges faced by higher vocational education, the integration interpretation of industry and education, and the policy interpretation of the integration of industry and education.
Finally, through SXPI's specific practice of "building a platform, building a team, doing projects, promoting integration, strengthening characteristics, and fixing the model", SXPI’s President Liu Yongliang introduced the new model, new approach and new results in the integration of production and education in detail.
