Mr. Qin Jingjun Gave a Special Lecture on the Cultivation Project of Chongqing Higher Vocational Famous Principals and Teachers Team

On August 16, 2022, Mr. Qin Jingjun, Dean of the School of International Education, was invited to give a special lecture online for the Cultivation Project of Chongqing Higher Vocational Famous Principals and Teachers Team (National Training Project). The title of the lecture was "Adhering to the Positioning of Type Education & Optimizing the International Development Path of Higher Vocational Education", which combined with the 2021 Higher Vocational Education Internationalization Research Report of the China Association for International Exchange of Education and the newly revised Vocational Education Law and other policies and regulations. The lecture analyzed in detail the current achievements and difficulties faced by the internationalization of higher vocational education. Finally, it combined with the practice and exploration of the international development of the integration of production and education in SXPI, and proposed an optimization path.

In the part of policy interpretation and status quo of internationalization of higher vocational education, the lecture sorted out a series of policy documents on internationalization of vocational education issued by the national level since 2006, and interpreted the connotation and development path of the national internationalization of vocational education. Combined with a survey report on the internationalization of higher vocational education, the lecture analyzed the achievements and challenges of higher vocational education, schools and professional groups in international exchanges and cooperation, and put forward some suggestions on the difficulties encountered in Sino-foreign cooperative education, education and training of international students, and "going out" education.

In the part of school experience sharing, the lecture introduced SXPI's "Double Integration Strategy""Double Excellence Project" and "Double Innovation Plan" from three parts: "Learning", "Practice" and "Innovation". The lecture held that exploring the international development model of school-enterprise cooperation and integration of production and education is the key success of our school in optimizing the path during the "double-high" construction period, promoting the connotation construction of the school and serving the national strategy.

In the part of experience and reflection, the lecture held that during the COVID-19 epidemic and under the background of high-quality development of vocational education, international exchanges and cooperation should adhere to the innovation of models, mechanisms and paths, adhere to the orientation of vocational education types, focus on the integration of industry and education, and build an international teaching team.
