From August 24 to 28, the 2022 National Vocational College Skills Competition "CNC Machine Tool Installation and Technical Transformation" (higher vocational group) was held in Zibo Vocational College. Teams from 52 provinces and autonomous regions took part in the competition. Cao Yuwei and Liu Jie, guided by teachers Wei Jin and Zhang Jing, from the School of Aeronautical Engineering, won the third prize after three days of fierce competition.

According to the requirements of the competition task book, with the help of the provided equipment, tools, technical data, PLC, system software, computers, etc., the contestants completed the electrical installation and adjustment of CNC machine tools, the mechanical installation and adjustment of CNC machine tools, the fault diagnosis and removal of CNC machine tools, the function development of CNC machine tools, the loading and unloading function development of industrial robots, the accuracy detection of CNC machine tools, and the intelligent processing verification of parts.

During the competition, the professional quality and safety awareness of the competitors are investigated. This competition strengthened the cultivation of students' practical ability and innovation ability, promoted the construction of intelligent manufacturing equipment technology major in SXPI, and effectively promoted the reform of professional teaching.
