On June 1st,SXPI and Nigeria's largest official training institution, the Industrial Training Association (ITF), negotiated a cooperation project through a video conference, to further promote international industry university research and application deep cooperation in the field of vocational education.
Ms. Dakwak Lami, Mr. Abinbola Olasupo James, Ms. Yemisi Aknirinade, Mr. Olorunleke Olufunke, Mr. Larry Lucky James, members ofITF, as well as Qin Jingjun, Dean of SXPI International Education School, and department members Li Ke, Yang He, and Liang Linlin, attended the meeting. The meeting was chaired by Ms. Yemisi Aknirinade.
At the meeting, both parties introduced their basic situations respectively and conducted full exchanges and discussions on matters such as vocational and technical education and training, industrial capacity building, and international vocational teacher training, reaching a consensus on cooperation.Besides, ITF hoped to visit SXPIin the near future to further discuss and enrich the cooperation plan, and sign the memorandum.
The Nigerian Industrial Training Association was established in 1971 and is the largest official training institution in Nigeria. In the past 40 years since its establishment, the association has guided and trained over 20 million employees to master necessary skills, trained nearly 100,000 entrepreneurs, and provided talents for various industries.
