On May 19th, the UNESCO International Symposium on Digitalization of Vocational Education was held in the form of a video conference. The project is led by Huang Hui, Deputy Director of the Vocational Education Development Center of the Ministry of Education. The project team is composed of three UNESCO vocational education contact centers, including Shaanxi Polytechnic Institute, Shenzhen Polytechnic, and Zhejiang Technical Institute of Economics, as well as some international vocational education experts. Relevant leaders and experts from UNESCO and UNESCO International Vocational Education and Training Center attended the meeting and delivered speeches.Mr.Qin Jingjun, Director of the International Cooperation and Exchange Office (Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan Office), Dean of the School of International Education,SXPIand Director of the UNESCO Vocational Education Center, attended the meeting.
At the meeting,Mr.Huang Hui introduced the ideas, main content, and expected results of the international research project on digital vocational education. He hoped that with the leadership and support of international vocational education organizations such as UNESCO and the UNESCO International Vocational Education and Training Center, China's vocational education would learn from international advanced vocational education policies, concepts, and practices, analyze and sort out the digital development of China's vocational education, and condense China's experience and cases,contribute to the digital development of vocational education worldwide.
The relevant leaders and experts of UNESCO and UNESCO International Vocational Education and Training Center respectively expressed their active support for the research project and hopedto promote exchanges and mutual learning between China and the world vocational education through this research project.
