Profile
School of Electrical Engineering is one of the earliest-established schools in SXPI. It features in strong teaching forces, advanced training facilities and high-quality student employment. .
Faculty
The school has 60 full-time teaching staff, including 25 professors and associate professors and 35 senior professional workers-and-technicians, among whom over 20 teachers have overseas study, training and working experiences. There are also over 20 part-time teachers from enterprises. The school boasts one national moral model teacher, one provincial renowned teacher, one provincial excellent teacher, one distinguished teacher in vocational institutions and one provincial model teacher, as well as one provincial level teaching team and one provincial level training base.
Facilities
The school, being a national level training base for vocational education teachers, has 35 advanced training facilities like electrical automation production line, Omron automation technology, automation network integration technology, industrial robot and intelligent vision technology, process control technology, electronic technology, communication technology and power supply technology.
Strengths and Performance
With over 2,000 full-time students, the school cooperates with Omron–the world well-known Japanese company–in training 100 students each year as its future employees. In the past three years, 98% of graduates have been employed and welcomed by the society.
