The school currently has more than 1,400 full-time students and a total of 67 full-time and part-time teachers, including 22 professors and associate professors, 5 PhD holders and 43 master’s degree holders. In addition, more than 10 industry experts are engaged as industrial mentors.
Over 90% of full-time teachers possess dual-qualification competence, forming a professional teaching team with a well-structured, full-time and part-time integrated“dual-qualified”faculty.

The School of Automotive and Intelligent Engineering has built a comprehensive group of on-campus and off-campus internship and training bases.
A productive training base integrating theory and practice has been established with a total investment of nearly 40 million yuan. The training base integrates teaching, scientific research, practical training, professional training and skill competitions. Adopting the dual mode of "practical training + real-scenario operation", it is equipped with production equipment and working environments consistent with actual industrial positions, realizing seamless connection between teaching and production processes, as well as on-campus simulation of real post work. Students can not only conduct professional skill training, but also experience authentic enterprise working procedures.
Strengths and Performance
The School has jointly established the Industrial College of Advanced Power Battery Technology with Contemporary Amperex Technology Co., Limited (CATL). It has received equipment donations for battery production and testing worth more than 23 million yuan from CATL.
The built Engineering Technology Center for New Energy Power Battery Intelligent Manufacturing focuses on cultivating high-quality technical and skilled personnel, promoting scientific and technological innovation, and providing social services in the fields of power batteries and energy storage batteries for the new energy vehicle industry.
Relying on its practical training bases, the Industry-Education Integration Practice Center for New Energy Vehicles, jointly applied by the college and enterprises, has been designated as a provincial-level cultivation practice center. Meanwhile, the Xianyang Key Laboratory of Energy Storage and Power Battery Testing has been officially approved.
In addition, the School of Automotive and Intelligent Engineering has actively established partnerships with well-known enterprises in the automotive industry and built off-campus internship bases. It has deepened school-enterprise cooperation through various models such as order-based training, modern apprenticeship, and post internship.
In recent years, the college has trained and delivered a large number of outstanding talents to enterprises including CATL, BYD, Tesla, Chongqing Changan Automobile, Chongqing Seres, Li Auto and others. The program has achieved remarkable results and won wide recognition from employers and society.
