SXPI received good news on March 20th that it’s Zambian campus has been approved by TEVETA (Technical Education, Vocational and Entrepreneurship Training Authority), Zambia. This is a big breakthrough for SXPI when it is striving to be a leader among China Higher TVET institutions at the backdrop of Belt and Road Initiative.
In Notification of Final Approval, Dr. Cleophas Takaiz, TEVETA Director General, wrote, the five approved curricula are now ready for implementation. By working with other 5 TVET institutions in China, SXPI applied for Diploma in Mechanical Manufacturing and Automation from TEVETA in June 2018. Mechanical Manufacturing and Automation is three year diploma programme which will be delivered on SXPI Zambian campus. The campus is nearly finished upon upgrading on formerly Luanshya Craft Training School. It expected that the first batch of approximately 25 new students for Diploma in Mechanical Manufacturing and Automation will be enrolled in the Zambian campus in May, 2019.
