On April 11, Wang Min'an, Vice President of the Xianyang People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, led a delegation to visit SXPI, welcomed by Dean Qin Jingjun of the School of International Education, staff, and international students.
The visit began with a university promo video, followed by Dean Qin's briefing on international cooperation highlights, including the“Vocational Education Goes Global”project and industry- education integration models. He noted the visit as a catalyst for expanded exchanges.
Wang praised the university's international education achievements, likening its foreign affairs work to a“rich mining area.” He proposed deeper collaborations, introducing Xianyang's plans to strengthen sister-city ties and boost civil exchanges, aiming to tap the university's international student resources for cultural and educational cooperation. Wang also chatted with students about their life in China.
The delegation toured campus training bases, witnessing hands-on teaching environments. The visit paves the way for future partnerships in international exchanges between the university and Xianyang's friendship association.
