On January 27th, the three-week overseas training for "Master Craftsman Teachers" national innovation team of Shaanxi Polytechnic Institute wrapped up successfully, with 19 teachers from "Mechatronics Technology" and "Electrical Automation Technology" teams returning.SXPI sent the most participants nationwide. The Personnel Office and International Cooperation Office did much prep work.
Launched in 2019 by the Ministry of Education and State Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs, this program, organized by the China Education Association for International Exchange, aimed to build a high-quality "dual-qualified" vocational teacher team. Over 660 teachers from 130 vocational schools were sent in 34 groups over four batches to 7 German cities for 21-day training across 11 fields.
Before going to Germany, a pre-departure training was held on November 21st, 2023. On January 7th, 2024, 109 teachers from the school's first-batch "High-end Equipment" groups arrived in Hamburg, where Heinz College held an opening ceremony.
In three weeks, trainees studied German "dual-vocational training", Industry 4.0's impact on vocational education, and visited HAZ, IHK, SB11, and Airbus Hamburg factory. Through various activities, they grasped German vocational education aspects, enhancing their teaching, technical skills, and global vision, which will support our school's teaching staff construction and key tasks like "Double-High- level" and vocational undergraduate development.
