Liu Yongliang, SXPI vice president held a meeting with Ms Samantha Hansel, visiting assistant director of Upper Iowa University, America on March 7. Liu Yongliang forwarded his welcome to Ms Samantha Hansel and briefly introduced her the college and its internationalcooperation, especially, some key international programs which are pursued by SXPI recent years. He said, With the national strategy of One Belt, One Road,the Chinese national government and Shaanxi government introduce policies to encourage and support vocational colleges to develop international cooperation,which makes a good opportunity for UlU and SXPI to well develop its cooperation program. He hoped the two institutes, based on the MOU and the Course to Course Articulation which were signed by the two parties in 2015, to well implement the cooperation programs and make the cooperation relation stronger and stronger. Ms Samantha Hansel appreciated SXPI’s hospitality and agreed with Liu Yonglang to promote the two institutes to cooperate closely.

After the meeting with Liu Yongliang, Ms Samantha Hansel met with officials from SXPI International Office and Academic Office. The two sides discussed cooperation on students and teachers exchange, especially, SXPI students to study bachelor degrees in UIU. Ms Samantha Hansel also made a SXPI campus tour and met Mr. Mac and Mr. lenwood,two American teachers who work in SXPI.
