On September 14, NAKAMURA Takayuki,president of National Institute of Technology, Fukushima College, Japan(NIT-FC),leading a four member delegation visited SXPI and signed cooperation agreement with Zhang Xiaoyun, president of Shaanxi Polytechnic Institute. Liu Yongliang, deputy secretary of SXPI party committee and vice president, heads from International Office, Academic department and Electrical Engineering School attended the meeting and witnessed the signing of agreement.

After watching SXPI promotion movie, Zhang Xiaoyun briefed the guests on Xianyang history, culture and SXPI profile.She said, in order to better serve China industrial upgrading and economic development, improving education and teaching quality, SXPI is now committed to build a National Excellent Higher Vocational College. SXPI always pays much attention to Learn from Germany, Japan and other education developed countries to well improve its teaching quality. NAKAMURA Takayuki visiting SXPI provides a good opportunity for us to learn from our Japanese counterpart. She hopes to establish cooperation programs with NIT-FC on teacher-student exchange and other areas so to benefit both the two colleges.

NAKAMURA Takayuki introduced Japan vocational educational system and NIT-FC on educational doctrine, academic programs,green campus, school-enterprise cooperation and international exchange and cooperation. He said that SXPI and NIT-FC were very similar on educational concept,teaching model and programs settings. He expressed wishes to establish cooperation on students exchange and other areas.

At the end of the meeting, Zhang Xiaoyun and NAKAMURA Takayuki signed cooperation agreement and exchanged souvenirs with each other. Mr. Liu Yongliang accompanied NAKAMURA Takayuki visit some training bases on SXPI campus after the meeting.In the afternoon, NAKAMURA Takayuki visited Civil Engineering School,Electrical Engineering School and CNC Engineering School to well understand the teaching in SXPI different faculties.
