SXPI welcomed a three member delegation of Madison Area Technical College, the USA on March 16. Mr. Liu Yongliang, SXPI vice president, and, officials from the International Office, Dean of Information Engineering held a meeting with the delegation who are Geoff Bradshaw, Ph.D.Director of International Education, Michael Kress-Russick and Phiilip McKeown, both are faculty in Art and Design program. The aim of the visit is to explore the possibility of cooperation as both SXPI and Madison College are TVET institutions and have many similarities.

During the meeting, Mr. Liu Yongliang and Geoff Bradshaw presented their college respectively and expressed the desire to develop cooperation programs. After the meeting, the delegation visited SXPI Information Engineering School, and viewed the ongoing training and teaching in SXPI classrooms and labs.

In the afternoon, a workshop was organized for sharing experience.The Madison College delegation and SXPI graphic design program faculties made a very fruitful discussion on teaching and the possibility of cooperation.

The intention of signing MOU and starting faculty, student short term exchange was made by both sides duringthe meeting.

Madison College is located in the heart of Wisconsin’capital city and has over 100 years history. It has partnerships with over 25 other colleges and universities that allow students to start a bachelor's degree after two years study in its college.
