On May 29, organized by the Library and Information Work Committee of Higher Colleges in Shaanxi province and undertook by SXPI library, the on-line seminar on “Library Service Innovation in Shaanxi TVET Institutions under the Normalization of Epidemic Prevention and Control” was held through the platform of “Tencent conference”. Meanwhile, more than 50 librarians and colleagues from 28 TVET institutions of Shaanxi province attended the meeting. The meeting was chaired by Ms. Gao Fengxiang, SXPI Librarian.

Mr. Mei Chuangshe, SXPI Vice President, attended this seminar and delivered the opening speech. He pointed out that it was essential for the libraries of TVET institutions in Shaanxi Province to fully exchange the experience in reading promotion and online service during the epidemic period. “I hope that all the curators can discuss how to make better use of the online and offline service modes and grasp the concept of 'accurate' service to integrate and enhance the library resources, technology, service and efficiency for the better development of each institution!”

Ms. Zhang Huijun, Secretary-General of the Provincial College Library Work Committee, made a report entitled “Sharing of Innovative Service Cases in University Libraries during the Epidemic”. She systematically summarized the innovative service measures of the library during the epidemic period from the perspectives of “technical support” and “cultural propaganda.” Meanwhile, the other curators from different institutions also explored the new measures of online service and shared the experience of reading promotion during the epidemic period.
