On November 27, the World Federation of Colleges and Polytechnics (WFCP) hosted ceremony to present its fourth Awards of Excellence, recognizing leaders in the field of technical and vocational education and training.At the ceremony, SXPI won the gold award of the excellence on Education Sustainable Development. Duan Jun, SXPI Vice President, received the award from Ms. Shen Xuesong, WFCP Vice Chair and Vice Director of CEAIE at the physical meeting place in Nanjing. Duan Jun expressed the appreciation for the support of WFCP and said that SXPI would continue to promote the work on education sustainable development.

There has been high interest in the 2020 WFCP Excellence Awards, with 113 nominations received by WFCP Secretariat. Nominees came from across the world, including Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, Fiji, Kenya, Spain, the United Arabic Emirates, the United Kingdom, and the United States.The awards recipients were recognized in eight categories, which represent the range of activity within the federation, covering innovation in entrepreneurship and higher learning, excellence in student support and access and collaboration with industry, and in applied research. The Awards of Excellence also recognizes the Chair’s commendations for outstanding service to the technical and vocational education and training.
