From April 7 to 8, the "Innovation and Entrepreneurship" competition hosted by Shaanxi Provincial Department of Education was held in Shaanxi Polytechnic Institute. 14 teams from 14 TVET institutions in Shaanxi Province launched a fierce competition. Meanwhile, the team from SXPI won the second place and obtained the qualification of national competition.

The innovation and entrepreneurship competition was a group competition, with 5 members in each team. The competition schedule was divided into three stages: simulated operation of start-up enterprises, operation decision-making report and roadshow defense of innovation and entrepreneurship projects, and project operation practice. The total competition lasted 465 minutes. It comprehensively investigated students’professional knowledge and abilities of finance, commerce,entrepreneurship, innovative thinking, professional qualities and the abilities of market recognition.

The competition fully demonstrated the excellent achievements of talent training and teaching reform in business data analysis and application, e-commerce and other majors of SXPI. Itimproved the comprehensive business skills of innovation and entrepreneurship of the students, highlighting the strength of SXPI in running school and exploring the talent training mechanism of "promoting teaching and learning through competition".
