Sponsored by the "Belt and Road" Vocational Education Alliance and Shaanxi Vocational and Technical Education Association, the first lecture contest for returned teachers from overseas in Shaanxi vocational colleges was held recently. Ms. Yang Qingman, the bilingual teacher of School of Finance and Tourism, won the first prize and Ms.Yang Jie won the Award of Excellence. SXPI also won the excellent organization award in this competition.

A total of 27 teachers from more than 10 higher vocational colleges in Shaanxi competed in this competition. The competition covered English, Spanish, German, Russian, Italian, Korean and other foreign languages. It was conducted both online and offline, and renowned professors from Xi 'an Jiaotong University and other universities were invited to serve as judges. According to the participating teachers' interpretation of teaching materials, teaching methods and teaching process and the embodiment of teachers' professional quality based on their own overseas learning experience and advanced foreign concepts. They were scored on site. Finally, 2 first prizes, 3 second prizes, 5 third prizes and several awards of excellence were selected.

In recent years, SXPI attaches great importance to the resource advantages of overseas returnees, carries out "bilingual" teacher certification, provides professional English core courses for overseas cooperative colleges and universities, and develops international teaching standards and digital teaching resources, which effectively promotes the international development of the professional group and SXPI.
