On May 21, the "Industrial Robot System Operator" competition of the 2021national Industrial and Information Technology Skills Competition in Shaanxi Province was successfully held in SXPI. A total of 33 teams from Baoji Vocational and Technical College, Xi'an Aviation Vocational and Technical College, Northwest Non-ferrous Metal Research Institute, Shaanxi Automobile Holding Group Co., Ltd. and other higher vocational colleges and enterprises participated in the competition.SXPI Aeronautical Engineering school sent two teams of teachers and students to participate in the competition.

The competition consists of two parts: theoretical examination and practical operation. In the total score, the theoretical examination accounts for 20% and the practical operation accounts for 80%. The competition will be implemented in accordance with the requirements of the national vocational skill standards for the operators of industrial robot systems. At the same time, in combination with the production practice of modern enterprises and the proposition of the application and development of industrial robot technology, it focuses on the theoretical and technical level of the contestants' scheme planning, system integration, operation and maintenance, condition monitoring, fault analysis and diagnosis of industrial robot workstations or systems. The whole process of video monitoring in the stadium is organized by the members of the referee expert group to ensure that the competition schedule is rigorous, fair and just.

Through this competition, the students' comprehensive professional ability and innovative spirit have been greatly exercised and their operating skills of industrial robots have been improved. Besides,the teaching achievements of SXPI,"promoting teaching, learning, reform and construction through competition" have been fully demonstrated.
