On August 15, 2022, the 2022 Silk Road Education Cooperation and Exchange Conference hosted by the Shaanxi Provincial People's Government opened in Xi'an. At the opening ceremony, Mr. Guo Xiaowei, Deputy Secretary-General of the Standing Committee of the Shaanxi Provincial People's Congress, and Mr. Liu Yongliang, the President of SXPI, jointly unveiled the "Indonesian Qin GONG YUAN of SXPI", which marked the official launch of SXPI's Indonesian Qin GONG YUAN.
QIN GONG YUAN is an overseas school brand set up in East Java Province of Indonesia by SXPI, which is supported by the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Asia Regional Cooperation. It integrated resources from Indonesian universities and Chinese enterprises. QIN GONG YUAN is committed to cultivating overseas and local skilled talents who "understand Chinese, understand culture and have excellent skills" for "going-out" enterprises, and contributed to the school program of serving the major national strategy of China's vocational education. Two Chinese enterprises, including ShaanGu Group, and 10 Indonesian vocational colleges, including Semarang Wiwa College, participated in the construction of Qin GONG YUAN in the form of cooperation.
QIN GONG YUAN focused on the job demand of modern manufacturing, information technology & big data, smart logistics, engineering & construction, financial tourism, light textile & chemical industry, which is supported by high-quality Chinese enterprises in Indonesia and the advantages of SXPI. It provided eight-in-one educational functions of joint talent training, study in China education, skills training, short-term study tour, language training, innovation and entrepreneurship, academic exchange, and scientific research cooperation. It aimed to provide talent support for China's "going-out" enterprises and Indonesia's economic and social development, expand the influence of China's vocational education, and enhance people-to-people exchanges between the two countries.
Since the establishment of Indonesia QIN GONG YUAN, SXPI has carried out several cooperation projects including the joint training of undergraduates of Indonesia Mandala School of Economics, the 2022 International Winter Camp of China-Indonesia Training of Future Leadership, the joint training of Skilled talents of ShaanGu Indonesia Power Plant, the 2022 Chinese Bridge Spring Camp for Indonesian Young Leaders, and Chinese + Vocational Education. It promoted the online and offline interaction and learning of 376 Chinese and Indonesian teachers and students, effectively solved the human resources dilemma of cooperative enterprises, and enhanced the university's ability to serve overseas enterprises.
