On the afternoon of August 17th, Secretary of the Party committee of SXPI Mr. Hui Zhaoyang held a meeting in the first conference room of Chongwen South Building, to study and convey the spirit of Minister Huai's visit to the school for investigation, and to deploy work measures to implement the spirit of the instruction. Mr. Hui presided over the meeting and delivered a speech. School leaders and heads of various schools attended the meeting.

The meeting pointed out that Minister Huai's investigation into SXPI fully reflected the Ministry of Education's great attention to vocational education and the hope of school reform and development. It also reflected the influence and good image of SXPI in the field of vocational education in China. Minister Huai's visit greatly enhanced the confidence of the teachers and students of SXPI to accelerate the construction of the “double-high” school, which was of great significance for SXPI to deepen the reform of vocational education, the integration of industry and education, and the school-enterprise cooperation.

The meeting emphasized that it was necessary to deeply study and publicize the spirit of the Minister Huai's research instructions, form an implementation plan, and quickly set off a learning boom in the whole school. SXPI must firmly seize the historical opportunity period for the development of vocational education, implement "integration of production and education", accurately grasp the requirements of the construction of the modern vocational education system. And strive to make greater contributions to the construction of "double-high", the application of higher vocational undergraduate education, and the construction of the new campus.

The participants discussed their experiences, ideas and measures based on their own work practices. The conference also deployed the construction of the new campus and the first World Vocational and Technical Development Conference.
