Recently, according to the Notice of Shaanxi Provincial Department of Education on the issuance of 2022 Annual scientific research Plan <Document No. 796 (2022)>, SXPI applied for 13 scientific research plan projects.9 projects were approved, with a total of 330,000 yuan of funding. And the project approval rate was 70%.The number of approved projects and the amount of approved funds of SXPI ranked the first in higher vocational institutions in Shaanxi. Among them, there were 7 general special research projects (6 general special projects in natural sciences and 1 general special project in humanities and social sciences) with a funding of 130,000 yuan. There were 2 local special scientific research projects, with a funding of 200,000 yuan.

The goals of the scientific research project of the Shaanxi Provincial Department of Education were: to train young teachers in colleges and universities, to stabilize the scientific and technological talent team, to speed up the construction of scientific research platforms, to improve the ability of scientific and technological innovation, and to serve the local economic construction. The purpose was to highlight the function of "nurturing seedlings", strengthen organized scientific research, and guide the in-service scientific researchers in Shaanxi colleges and universities to carry out scientific research oriented by needs and problems.
