From August 21 to 24, the 2022 National Vocational Students Skills Competition "Design and Implementation of Photovoltaic Electronic Engineering" was held in Dezhou Vocational and Technical College. The team composed of Fang Weiqi and Zhang Shunxing, Teachers from the School of Electrical Engineering, and Wang Han, Guo Menggang and Zhao Jiale, students from the Class of Automation 1909 won the first prize of the group. Fang Weiqi and Zhang Shunxing won the award of excellent Instructors.

A total of 165 participants from 55 vocational college teams from 29 provinces and Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps participated in the competition. The competition evaluated the design and deployment of photovoltaic power stations, installation and system integration of photovoltaic power stations, intelligent detection and information collection, intelligent operation and maintenance management and demand analysis under the real production environment of photovoltaic industry with talent chain reconstruction. It required competitors to master assembly technology and installation process, local control data acquisition, various communication technologies, system maintenance and comprehensive utilization of energy and other comprehensive technologies. It also evaluated the comprehensive professional quality of the contestants in practical operation, standard operation, fine work and team cooperation.

The competition was a team competition and was completed over two days. On the first day, a design and development task of photovoltaic electronic engineering was completed. The competition lasted for 5 hours. On the second day, the implementation and debugging task of photovoltaic electronic engineering was completed. The competition lasted for 3 hours. Occupational standards and production safety were assessed throughout the competition.

This competition reflected the students' stable psychological quality and excellent professional operation skills, and laid a solid foundation for the further development of photovoltaic engineering technology and other electrical majors in SXPI.
