Recently, China Education Association for International Exchange (CEAIE) announced the accreditation results of the first batch of LUBAN Workshop operation projects in China. The SINO-ZAM Vocational College of Science and Technology project that SXPI participated in was identified as the conditional operation project of LUBAN Workshop. Conditional operation projects can be identified as LUBAN Workshop operation projects after expert review within one year.

LUBAN Workshop, initiated by Tianjin, was an innovative measure for China to run vocational education abroad. It served Chinese enterprises to "go global", provided high-quality technical and skilled human resources support for international production capacity cooperation and economic and social development of various countries, and became an important carrier to promote people-to-people exchanges along “the Belt and Road”. According to the Regulations for the Construction of Luban Workshop and the Accreditation Standards for the Operation of Luban Workshop (Trial), CEAIE and Luban Workshop Construction Alliance regularly carrid out the accreditation of the operation of LUBAN Workshop in order to standardize the running of schools and improve the quality.

In 2016, the Ministry of Education launched the non-ferrous metal industry vocational education "going out" pilot project. As one of the pilot colleges, SXPI focused on international general teaching standards and resource development, and aimed to cultivate local technical and skilled talents who were familiar with Chinese standards. Schools and enterprises joined hands to build China's first overseas vocational college independently in Zambia, the SINO-ZAM Vocational College of Science and Technology, which became one of the biggest highlights of China's vocational education during the "13th Five-Year Plan" period.

In 2016, the Ministry of Education launched the non-ferrous metal industry vocational education "going out" pilot project. As one of the pilot colleges, our school focuses on international general teaching standards and resource development, and aims to cultivate local technical and skilled talents who are familiar with Chinese standards. Schools and enterprises have joined hands to build my country's first overseas vocational college independently in Zambia, the China-Zambia Vocational College, which has become one of the biggest highlights of my country's vocational education during the "13th Five-Year Plan" period.

The five-party cohesive management and operation mechanism, the school-enterprise "double excellence" drive, and the production-education integration education model formed by SXPI during the construction of the SINO-ZAM Vocational College of Science and Technology provided an important reference for the "going out" of China's vocational education. At present, due to the high quality of running schools and the good employment of students, the SINO-ZAM Vocational College of Science and Technology became a popular school for local youth to apply for. It was reported more than 200 times by the People's Daily and other media, and was selected into the "Student Reader of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era" by the Ministry of Education.
