Recently,the “Tour Guide Service” category of the 2022 National Vocational College Skills Competition was held at Xining Urban Vocational and Technical College. Directed by Kang Yangyang, a teacher of SXPIFinance-Economics and Tourism School, SXPI student, Zhu Fangyi won the third prize.

The competition is sponsored by the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism. 60 players across China have participated into this competition. It mainly covers 5 parts, including the Guide Knowledge Test,the GuideWriting and Interpretation,Self-Selected Scenic Guide Interpretation, Guide Oral English Test and Talent Application. Besides, it combines tour guide service professional image, creativity, skills, culture, art and emotion, presenting a wonderful game feast.

The competition helped to improve the students' professional qualities and promoted the training of technical-skill-oriented and application-service-oriented talents in tourism management major of SXPI.
