On February 28th, Qin Jingjun, Dean of the School of International Education, met with Dr. Kess Asikhia, officer of the Education Department of Edo State, Dr. Silvester Omoruyi, the executive dean of the Edo State Institute of Technology, and Dr. Abiodun Falodun, the former dean of the Edo State Institute of Technology, to discuss the exchange and cooperation projects.

Dean Qin Jingjun introduced the situation of SXPI and international exchanges and cooperation. He said that Shaanxi Polytechnic Institute, as one of the best higher vocational institutes in China and the UNEVOC center, is committed to building a world-class higher vocational education and hopes to establish cooperative relations with Edo, relying on the project of "Qin Gong Yuan" to carry out pragmatic cooperation and achieve win-win cooperation.

Dr. Kess Asikhia introduced the basic situation and the development of vocational education in Edo. He said that the development of vocational education in Edo has encountered many challenges, and he hopes to carry out cooperative projects such as curriculum development with Shaanxi Polytechnic Institute so as to improve the talent training level in Edo and promote local economic development.

At the meeting, the two sides conducted in-depth exchanges and discussions on international curriculum development, teacher training, students’ dual-degree education, international conferences, and other projects and reached a consensus on cooperation.
